“Let’s Make F-U-N of Music!!!”

Hi there! I can assume that since you are here at my website that you have decided to take music lessons, or you are looking for lessons on behalf of your children. If you want to learn a new instrument, and have a great time playing your favourite songs, Flamingo Music is an excellent place to start. Located in South - East Calgary and going into its 4th year, Flamingo Music offers exciting music lessons for ages 4 and up. Weekly lessons are available in 30 and 60 minute blocks, and are customized to suit your age, abilities, and style or those of your children. Lessons are offered year-round so you can start anytime and keep learning even in the summer months!!

My name is Challena, and I believe that music is meant to be fun, and I bring energy, experience and enthusiasm to music lessons. Music is my life and my passion, and I have a strong desire to help it become a lifelong enjoyment for my students. I have taught in both one-on-one and small group settings, as well as played in both solo and ensemble recitals. Right now I have students that are exploring Beethoven, performing Disney solos, rocking out with the hits of performers like the Beatles, Hannah Montana, Avril Lavinge and others. Some of my students are even budding composers making their own pieces and experimenting with their skills. Currently, I host two recitals a year for my students, and the kids have a great time showing off their skills and entertaining their families and friends, followed by an “after party” for our young stars.
